Sunday Mornings

Children are always welcome at Immanuel. Our normal Sunday services always start with Praise Time for singing, playing percussion and waving flags and a Family Time where the content is geared towards children of all ages. After that, the children have their own groups - visiting children are welcome too.

Children queue up during the collection and after a blessing go off into the church halls with the leaders. At the end of the service, children can be collected during coffee in the Main Hall where there is space for them to run around while parents chat over coffee and biscuits.

Creche (age 0-3 years)

Babies and toddlers are welcome to enjoy a time of play with toys or even just to sleep in our creche. We have this facility to enable parents and carers to attend the main service without worry but recognise that in some cases parents may not wish to leave their child alone. Parents are also welcome to join in with creche or to keep their baby with them during the service. If your child requires a break during the rest of the service, the Welcoming Area has toys available and speakers to enable you to hear the service.

Junior Church (age 4+ years)

Children learn in different ways from adults and our Junior Church enables them to explore the Bible and current issues through readings, discussion, music, drama and dance. It is great fun and often involves making something or playing games while learning.

Older members meet in our FURY lounge where they have their own time of learning through discussion, activities and prayer. It is cool, with computers, sofas and giant cushions to veg on while they discuss, read the Bible and have quizzes and other activities.

All our leaders and helpers have undergone a CRB check through the church
